CRS Refrigeration works with some of the largest shipping companies assisting them with their reefer requirements. In addition we have developed agencies with top refrigeration suppliers such as Carrier Transicold, Mitsubishi & Thermoking.
We have also diversified into several different markets including, air conditioning, cold rooms, ice machines and catering equipment. In addition our catering equipment solutions also provide service and repair.
CRS Mobile Cold Storage operates primarily in Ireland and the UK but are happy help you wherever you are based! We provide both new and refurbished cold storage and offer a range of rental, lease and sales options.
CRS are a family run company, with family values and are accredited with the ISO9002 standard.
History
CRS started in 1992 with the incorporation of CRS Refrigeration. At that time CRS’ core business focused mainly on quayside reefer services including temperature monitoring, pre-trip inspection, and refrigeration equipment repair.
In 1994 CRS saw a gap in the market and launched CRS Rent A Fridge, which later became CRS Mobile Cold Storage. Our aim was to provide mobile cold storage to range of industries including frozen food processors, bakers, and pharmaceuticals.
In the beginning we rented out standard reefers (refrigerated containers), but have now grown to offer a wide range of portable cold storage solutions including:
- Extra wide cold storage containers – sizes up to 18, 38 & 58 pallets
- Refrigerated containers - sizes 10ft, 20ft & 40ft
- Portable blast freezers – sizes 10kw, 60kw & 106kw
- Pharmaceutical refrigeration – sizes 10ft, 20ft & 40ft
- Meat rail portable storage – size 40ft
- Mobile bars – size 45ft
- Mini cold storage containers
